Melissa, I used Ranger distress inks to do the coloring on the mother child silhouette. BTW the girl watering the tulips, I used prisma pencils on the girl and the watering can using the gasmol technique. I brightened up the tulips with a MS opaque marker. As you can see there is quite a difference when using different coloring techniques.
