2nd NOEL Christmas Card.

The NOEL letters on this card is from the Blackletter cart. I did not have this cartridge until I got it form the free Gypsy download.  The snowflakes are from an Ionic punch. The border is from a Cuttlebug border die.
The Christmas tree border is from a paper pack I have and the top brown gingham is a ribbon trim.

Christmas Card NOEL

For this card I used a font from Lyrical Letters to cut NOEL,  I used a MS border punch and punhed the sonowflakes from a Ionic punch. The Christmas lights are from and Inkadinkadoo stamp, I colored them with pencils. I used Glossy Accents on the lights and NOEL letters.

Next Christmas card..

I used Winter Frolic for the FROSTY cut. The Snowman is a embossing folder I colored with glitter gel pens. Merry Christmas is a stamp. The background is the Cuttlebug snowfake embossing folder and the added snowflakes are punches. I used stickles for the glitter. I made this Snowman card because some of those I send cards to like snowmen. I always make sure on the inside of my card the true Christmas message is there, if not on the front.

A Christmas card made with Winter Frolic

I am making my Christmas cards and this is the first one that I will post. I have lots more to share and they are all differnt.

It is a Good Day!

I went to post early this morning but my dh interupted and said we have to go. So I did not get anything posted this morning. No crafting today for me. We are going to our grandson's football game this evening. Always fun!

I was going to post that I exercised on my Gazzelle this morning. I have been trying to be faithful in doing exercise. This morning I did for an hour. I have been working myself up with a goal of an hour. So I made my goal ... My sons tell me I should exercise for an hour and a half each day but I have to work up to it.. Maybe I will try to do that. We are going to Hawaii in December so I want to be in the best shape I can be.

Hoping to be back to crafting on Saturday. Happy Crafting everyone!

Another day, another card. Hello Kitty, Go Huskers

I had cut out this silhouette of Hello Kitty so I decided to use it to make a card. I glued the silhouette to a card and then colored the inside of the bow, pom poms and outfit red. Let it dry and stickled those red. If I had the Varsity lite cart I would have put a N or her shrit. I also drew on the eyes and nose. Now she's a Huskers cheerleader, LOL. Can you tell my family are Huskers fans?

Good Morning! I made my Grand daughter's BD card.

This card is made from one of my newest cartridges. Hello Kitty. My GD is turning 2 in a little over a week.

Monday, October 4, 2010

Hello! I'm back to crafting!

I was able to see two football games my grandson played in (His team won both games). Yay! I also was able to see my son and his wife. They were in Wyoming from Hawaii. It's been a busy time but I hope to get back to card making and later scrapbooking.

Here is a card I made. I used the reinkers and an aquapainter to color the rose stamp. The background cut is from Cindy Lou and in back of that is a silver metallic mirror type paper. The butterfly and love are MS punches. I stressed the edges of the card and used a Tim Hotz Distress ink (Brushed Corduroy) to ink the edges.

This Evening's post.

I usually like to post in the morning but I thought I would try something different. My Daughter in Law's Dad passed away yesterday eve... So sad for her.
My grandson's football team won their game last nite. It was fun to be there. My husband and I hope to go and see another game next Tuesday Night (It will be his day off and he does not get many chances to go see our GS play). I'm hoping to get some crafting done tomorrow.

Good Morning!

No crafting for me today and probably no posting on my blog for a week. I have so much to do. My oldest Grandson plays football so I am going to watch a game he has tomorrow night. It is 120 miles to where they live so I will be gone a couple of days. I also will be doing some jobs around the house that need to be done. I wish I could craft every day but just can't.

Good Morning!

Posting for today.
I have to tell about my find yesterday. My husband and I went to the town next to us to get tags for our pickup. We checked out the thrift shops. At one of the shops, I found stampin up stamps, stamp pads and reinkers. I am a sucker for stampin up stamps and supplies. I found a big floral rose stamp and some scripture stamps. I look forward to using the scripture stamps on cards I make.
Today will be a real busy day for me. I will not get to work on those cards until the end of this month, so much to do. I love crafting but things must get done.
Happy crafting everyone!
